All GSSI Girl Scouts', G.I.R.L.s Night In, wrapped up Saturday morning with a service project for the 40 girls who spent the night at Teen Outback in Huntingburg. The girls in grades 4-12 assembled 587 pinwheels and attached cards for Celestine's 175th Celebration which will be handed out later this year and next year. Emma Cashmore of Holland, left, Denae Reinmann of Huntingburg, both 12, and Akayla Eichmiller of Dubois, 11, blew on the pinwheels while waiting for cards to attached to the handles. This is the first year the Girls Scouts had a lock-in for the older scouts and approximately 10 different troops were represented from around the area. Wagner led the girls through different yoga poses while talking to them about mindfulness. "Just do your best," Wagner said. "And forget the rest." Along with the service project the girls decorated cakes, painted canvases and painted their nails.
