Jasper senior Olivia Ruckriegel was comforted by her father and mother, Jeff and Evonne, following the Wildcats’ loss in the last game of the season Saturday in Jasper. Jeff said he was telling his daughter that it’s a game, life will go on and she’ll learn to adapt to what comes next. He said Olivia is going to play soccer at Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky. “It may be the end of the game, but it’s not the end of her life,” Jeff said. The Wildcats lost 5-1 to the Evansville Memorial Tigers in the Class 2A girls soccer regional semifinals.
