Kindergarten teacher Renae Rohleder leads students around a walking path on the first day of school at Celestine Elementary on Aug. 7, 2019. Everyday, the students complete the path with each portion having different directions, such as such as large sideways steps, skipping and stepping with alternating knee touches, to help the students develop gross motor skills. "A lot of times, gross motor is overlooked because the academics have changed so much, so I try to get them moving in the morning," Rohleder said.
