With fireworks, food, country music, and spraklers all around Anita Bravo, 2, found the merry-go-round the best attraction at Huntingburg City Park 25 years ago during the YMI barbecue Tuesday. The program, which distributes food for free, is part of the USDA’s Coronavirus Food Assistance Program which purchases food from farmers and processing facilities that would otherwise go to waste due to food supply chain disruptions brought on by the COVID-19 outbreak.
